Nah, doubtful. I know I'm gonna disappoint you, but I just don't drink anymore, man. It's not because I have a problem with it at all; I just haven't gotten around to it. The last few times I could have gotten smashed, I was sick. The last time I actually got "drunk" drunk was July '04. It's fucked up.

It's not like we're short of patron saints of countries. Why aren't more celebrated?
In fact, buggered if I know when abouts June or July St George's day is.

buying my daughter a green outfit and then a brief lesson on leprechauns, and "the magical people of ire".
i wonder what she's learning in school?
...lord knows i'm bombarded daily with questions relating to those subjects, and if leprechauns give gold or kill for their gold...

everything has a saint...just look up roman catholicism...name saints, day saints, patron saints, saint's saints...for example, my patron saint would be saint audrey...she died from throat cancer and thought it was for vanity because she wore a lot of necklaces...that's about all i know of her. Does the US even have a saint? | I think other nations should celebrate St George's day by going out, drinking loads of proper ale, wearing hats with knobs on them, and getting into fights. That's what happens when I go out drinking anyway..
As for St Paddy's day - I'll be getting wankered.

Although, Mary doesn't really seem the sort to inspire a good time.... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Although, Mary doesn't really seem the sort to inspire a good time.... | mary, one of the most misunderstood women in the bible in my opinion...some mid century pope really screwed up with his assessment of her.
as for st. patrick's day, i guess ask the irishmen who brought it over...i know in chicago it's a super big deal, they even dye a river green, but most small towns seem to not get really excited...usually just the wearing of green or get pinched...just another excuse to get stinking drunk and make merry?
i wonder what an irish person would have to say about it.
however; it is kind of fun getting all the bizarre questions from my eight year old, in an annoying, "i don't know, i've told you already" sense. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

There's an Irish pub at the bottom of my road. I'll hit there and see if I can find myself a swamp-donkey and end my two drought of no sex...
