I think there was a thread like this a while ago.. but anyway. I was wondering what words you use as slang that are often misunderstood by people from other countries or even just counties/states.

Here are my examples:

Slang followed by interpretation, if it's not obvious..

Get done - to be 'told off'
Skip rat - someone who doesn't use soap
Binner - someone who doesn't use soap
Skipper - someone who doesn't use soap
Duggie - someone of less intellect than is normal
Scrubber - A dirty whore
Slapper - A dirty whore

I'm sure I can think of more.. but my creative juices just ran dry.

Chaver - Excessive jewellry slut
Minger - Ulgy female
Bint - Stupid female
Git - asshole
Piss off - go away/ fuck off

Yup - it covers the smell of BO!!! body odour - haha

Minger and bint are two personal favourites

a grip = a lot.

I thought this was rather commonplace, but I've recently found that to be untrue.

I user never heard of it, escept for 'get a grip' which means something totally different.

I have new ones to add:

Munter - an ugly person
Sweaty Biffer - a smelly person

Miff, Mot, Minge, Fluffy pie = pussy

Foof = pussy

Damm forgot that one...

It's the only slang word for female genitalia that I think is cute

bubbler=fountain (or water fountain)
guttersnipe=whore
Joe Bag 'O Donuts=any guy
zazzeech=baseball bat (used in a sentence: "Hit 'em with the zazzeech!")

Bucket - big foof

I think I will be able to drop guttersnipe into everyday conversation

I think that would be cool

The coolest thing about it is that nobody will know whether or not I'm insulting them! haha
