Now that the mods have changed the name of the wimp forum to the 'serious discussion' forum i am wondering what exactly constitutes a serious discussion?
Does it have to be a bunch of college graduates sitting around discussing the situation in Iraq or the state of America's economy or can it be people talking about absolute shit as long as it's done seriously?
I'd post this in said forum but i'm worried i'll get my ass banned for being too frivolous (sp?). Anyways, help me out here. | |

I'm guessing that the DF definition of 'serious discussion' is discussion that does not involve flaming or postwhoring, and does not include threads made specifically as jokes. | |

I thought yesterday of being a admin and changing the font color and size of one of the board titles. The thing was I planned to have one of the other boards to be there only for people to complain about it.
That was odd.

I like it actually, with the board condensed under the title of serious discussion people will be inclined to look at threads that they ordinarily would have ignored.

Serious discussion would be anything relating to a discussion of a serious nature.

Uh..anything would fit in "Serious Discussion", including religious debates, spiritual discussion and photographic arguments. Maybe....it should be altered to a more correct term?

You'd have to decide on what political really meant. Is it anything relating to the basic relations of countries, or is it something more about the political members of a government?
Perhaps the events that occur daily which don't even relate to political figures would fit under there? Wait..no..
