selling my guitars

well had a talk today with a parent... cause i went to go pick up my check... so i went talk to kelly... the lady that helps me... she asked me if i have done anything yet when i graduated... i said no nothing but thinking on what i want to do... she said that if i ever want to go to college that they would pay for it... before i was about to say no... but i didn't i'm glad i didn't... so went to mom told her about it... i told her i wasn't interested in going to college... she said you know your not staying at home... with your parents forever... you think that if you move in with your brother kevin... that he would let you sit all nice and pretty in his house... i know that all of that shit is true... i told her that i talked to kelly about if they had guitar classes... mom was like you know kendra... you have all these dreams... being in a band with your guitar... isn't going to get you anywere in life... you are not going to make money on it... so i sat all sad about the guitar and band thing... but i want to be in a band for fun... so after she said that... i sat there and was thinking... i know that she is right... i'm not sad about it just with the guitar is all... she was like look at your guitar teacher... he was playing the guitar... he was also in a band... did that get him anywere... no he ended up working for the boarder patrol...
i was thinking... you know since i have been playing for 8 years... i have not gotten into the band... so i figured that playing the guitar was a waste of talent for me... i wish i was smart like my brother who gets straight a's and everything... but i'm not...
so how much should i sell my guitars... they are left handed... i have seven of them... also left handed guitars cost more then the right handed ones...
I've heard the same thing, too. So what if you don't get anywhere? Play because YOU like to, not because you're gonna be the next Jimmy Page. I still play my bass on and off; nobody can tell me I'm wrong, because I pay my bills, love my family, and I'm not hurting anybody.

besides playing is just for fun... heck my brother mat was in a band...

don't worry about it know... i can't sell them... cause i am not the one that payed for the guitars... so know i'm here thinking about college... what i want to do...
