And for those of you with herpes, please resist the urge to pick your scabs.

I find that coacoa butter helps to keep the skin moisturized and relieve itching.

I'm using hemp lotion and tea tree oil. It works better for me than cocoa butter.

And besides, a nice and even scab is something you WANT to be on your tattoo.

have you stopped shaving your armpits and started bathing in patchouli oil too?

rub preparation H into it.

what i did, was from the moment the cling film came off, i smeared it with antiseptic cream and preparation H. rub as much antiseptic into it as you can until it doesnt take any more, then put preparation H over the top so it turns into a protective layer. when the H flakes off, put more antiseptic on it.

this way i got no scab other than a teeny one on the deep dark black bits.

worked well. didnt itch at all.

k. I don't need tattoo advice. I've got 9 tattoos, in a wide variety of sizes and locations. This was me being annoyed at the itching.

's cool, some people never heard that shit before. i just find it funny, smearing arse cream over yourself.

itching blows. chew some gum. helps me when im itchy.

I use preparation H when I've stayed out all night getting shitty, and I have to work the next morning.

Makes the eye swelling go down.

ive got 9 tattoos myself and always found that putting a bag of frozen veggies (corn or peas) over it for a few minutes kills the itch. but, everyone has their own thing.

also makes the brown eye swelling go down.
