As end of the year draws closer and we log another year on this earth, we often reflect back on what has happened. The people we've met, things we've done...the good, the bad...achievements or regrets..Post your feelings/thoughts about 2004 here:

((I'm posting this now because I have no idea what condition I'll be in leading up to New Years and the day after ))

*I regret getting involved with my ex, I only hurt her more by leaving.
*Resolved long standing issues with old friends
*"Great, four more years of bullshit from Mr. Bush"
*I've calmed down alot, stopped caring about certain things, and started enjoying life.. rather than just sitting in bitter cynicism.
*It took me too long to realize that I liked a certain person, but missed my chance.....i think.
*I finally got my social anxiety under control early this year.

uh...

- had a bunch of stuff happen that needs to be forgotten
- had a smaller amount of stuff happen that needs to be remembered

-discovered rape/revenge flicks and the exploitative genre as a whole....don't know if thatz good or bad

-graduated college, yay!!!!

-decided not to go to grad skool......DAMN!!!! i could be stoned and playin' CS on a T3 connection....but instead, i moved back home, stopped doin' drugs, and just spend my nights talkin' to you assholes (i luv you all!!!!!)

-don't drink........as much......yay!

-still single....imagine that

-got back into music....got back into a band....and got back into drummin', as opposed to guitarin'......tripple yay!

-got a hair cut, i was sad to see it go....it was like 3 ft long, but i'm not 17 anymore...y'know? so i cut it.....i like it, and so does everyone else apparently

-stopped wearing jewelry as much, and other "gothy-like fashions"

-um.....started smokin' menthols again

-and um....i dunno, on one end i'm more lovin', on the other end i'm more hateful.....

-and i didn't vote for bush

this year was rough... very rough.. I had the worst three months I can remember.. but what didn't kill me made me stronger, and with the new year, I hope my new life starts an upward slope.. I don't want to remember the pain of this past year, I hope it leaves me

My year has been.. It has been.

My relationship with Kyle evolved from puppy love to an actual functional relationship.
I've lost a good deal of my friends.
My family life is declining.
My artistic interest has peaked.
I've discovered that life is infact what you make of it.
I decided what I'm (probably) doing with myself after highschool.
I went through some kickass hair styles and am finally going to back to normal.

I've learned alot. And with that comes growth.

*I regret not beingf around my son for another year.
*I had a little baby girl which is good.
*Imiss my family and I eveb miss Peter...
*Since I have been im canada, every christmas has been more depressing than the last, I think people can kiss my arse now, they suckpole here.

*As it has been just about 2 years now, I sit and just go over in my head what I could have and should haved done differently in that time. My last conversation with a loved one, what I could have and should have said. My life in general, what I could and should have sdone. The pain never goes away but each year I get a better senser of self and begin to think more about what I will do and what I will say, what I will thinkk and what path I wikl go down to improve mydelf as a person fOr all those love ones I have lost over the years, all the people I wil gain in the next few years and my children.

My daughter got a new mother, I got a woman I'm going to keep around.

My daughter learned to read.

I voted for Bush and he won.

Everything else was same shit, different year.

2005 holds change, both that I know of and other things that will take me by surprise. I just hope whatever does happen I can make the best of it.

I learned that there is no reason why I should expect things to be OK.
They will not be OK, and that is life, and so that is in itself, OK.

*I've managed to drop all of my grades by about 40-50 points
*I've fallen in love and had it just... shot down
*I've gotten kicked out of my mother's house again, joy!
*I worked on my tan last summer, I was going pretty good
*I've had 12 nervous breakdowns
*I realize how much I love my block, and how much it sucks to be away from it
*Kerry didn't win, Bless
*My pothead status dropped 3 points, but I still celebrated 4/20 like no tomorrow
*My drinking went from being a "celebration once a month" to "celebrate the weekend"
*I've become a complete slut, noticing how the number of guys I've slept with increased drastically
*My sister and I are finally getting along, and she's buying me cigs
*I beat my own record for number of times I tried to kill my brother
*I lost alot of friends, made a few new ones
*I can finally wear playboy bunny jewelry because I found my dad's stash of mags, hypocrite
*I hate CPS now, and the cops more than ever before
*Goddamnit, did I mention Kerry didn't win?
*I raised my grades again

All in all, this year sucked. It was full of heartache, but I still learned alot. Including how to tie my shoes without using the bunny ear method. If I could go back in time, I would live out February-June all over again.

Oh I met my budday Maggie this year.
I got drunk alot.

2004 sucked big time for me and my family...
~We realized a lot about some family members and that you cant even trust them.
~Got a lot of threats against us...Meaning, i never gota see my dad that much this year. And he took on way to much...again. Yet i got more but less of him.
~I lost a lot of "friends" but i still have the ones that mean the most to me.
~I finally found out whats wrong with my knees...its been 3 years of trying to figure it out. So now i can get my surgery and get back to everything i used to do.
~I learned a lot about myself...Well when you can just sit around...All you do is think. And while im laying around for another year...Ima try to work on everything.
~Lost a really important person in my life yet i gained another angel.

I learned how to care about the things that matter, the things that change or destroy lives. I learned life is too short to appease people that make you angry, or upset.

I have learned about the exquisite frustration of having the drive and desire to do something with my life but not having the means to do a damn thing.

other than the fact that im now salaried... with paid vacation.

Got really sick.
Had to quit school in my last year due to bein sick.
and dats really pissed me off. So 2004 was pretty fuckin shit.

2004 was my lowest year. I barely socialized,and I think thats weird because 2003 was when I was most social. Going out with groups of 12+ people,had a girlfriend,went out alot,etc.Then, I just drifted. I hate my job,good thing Im putting in my two weeks,soon.

i learned, the only people you can count on, are those you married,my children are no longer horrible, parent in laws are really the incarnates of evil, even while trying to be nice...and no matter how much money they tell you one can make...keep the jobs that you can rely on...and with faith, one will always land on their feet.

on a...global scale, bush, healthcare and education still suck in this country, and i fear it isn't going to get any better...but we are closer to 2035 and then we'll see if the mayans really had it all figured out.
