I listen to alot of radio. Mainly when I'm doing my art, studying, computer time, playing cards, in the card, ect.
So now I have XM Radio. Nobody trying to sell me product now!
So then, how many of you have something like XM, Regular Radio, No Radio (prefering your MP3 Player or iPod), ect.

I don't listen to it a lot, but I like 'youth' radio stations, because at least you are guaranteed alternative music, not Top 40 'hits'.
I am a bit old school because I don't have an MP3 or iPod. I prefer cds and my old stereo with the record player on top of it.

I was going to buy satellite radio, but then I got my iPod. Being able to take 7000 songs everywhere I go in my pocket was just much more appealing. I never leave home without it  | |

At home: National Public Radio (classical music & news)
In the car: CD's/pop music stations
An iPod is just like a Walkman with a lot more songs, right? I get sick of hearing the same version over & over, so I don't think I'll drop the bucks on one of those. | |

| Yeah, more or less so yeah. Except it holds around 115 songs on the iPod shuffle I think (depending on song length, of course). You'd be had pressed to get sick hearing the same songs all the time (at random at that). But, if that's all you listen to all day, then yeah you'd get sick. If you get one that holds more, I think you'd be happier. Of course those costs alot more.

My iPod holds over 7000 songs, believe me, I rarely hear the same song twice within a month on shuffle mode. | |

radio sucks, I even tried the XM radio and I was very unhappy with the music selection. I prefer my mp3 player any day. I want my music, when I want to listen to it.

In my contry radio sucks big time.It is like that because we have tons of stations who play old sick ass TURBO-FOLK[dont get me wrong about the word folk because we got troo folk that is good and we have this eastern muslim folk wich is super disterbing]Makes me wanna vomit.I only listen to radio music or program erly in the morning when im in the car and im going fishing ohhhhh yeah!Fishing radio rules! | |

Folk to a disco beat? Polka? It's interesting what people from different cultures enjoy. There is a large Hispanic population in my city, and it surprises me to see young guys in their tricked-out cars nodding along with polka-sounding Latino music. (I might have mentioned that before. If so, sorry) | |
