I know this may sound a little strange to you all but I want to make a pumpkin pie... Now I hollowed out 2 pumpkins because Im carving faces into them but the stuff inside... Not the seed, Im roasting the seeds but I mean the stringy stuff... Do I use that in the pie or do I throw it away?

Is it safe for me to roast the seeds?

Throw the stringy stuff away...you can bake or boil the pumkin, then scrape it out of the skin...and it's safe to roast the pumpkin seeds.....
