I took her to the doctor today for the last round of immunizations before kindergarten. She also recieved a full check up. While her doctor, a hot blond who has been her doctor since she was a baby, was checking her lungs for congestion with the stethoscope, Rhiannon got a cold, mean look on her face, and in an icy tone of voice said "You are touching my booby."

The doctor almost lost her professional composure and had to stifle a laugh, but she moved her hand and said "Is that better?"

someone removed a plant out of my garden, my daughter still says she'll grow up and find it for me...i wonder if she'll develop an interest in law enforcement ...the sentiment is cute however.

My cousins son was a the dentist one day, and he piped up to the dentist.. 'can you breathe in and out?' to which the dentist replied 'yes of course, why?' He responded 'well, could you breathe in because your breath smells'

i wouldn't laugh at that first story... a (gay) guy at a day care center that i worked at about five years ago was arrested, processed, and almost went to court because a manipulative little FOUR YEAR OLD accused him of the Bad Touch.

now i knew this guy... at little flamboyant in the fairy department, but an all around decent dude. no way in hell he'd do anything... one, no interest (i mean, cmon, he likes dudes)... two, no chance. all teacher aides (be they male or female) are supervised by permanent (all mothers, too) staff.

but this dude almost got sent up to the anal palace (hmm, maybe he'd've liked it there) because of gullible adults and manipulative CHILDREN.

which is why i hate children.

Hmm - yes, you do have to excersize caution. Where I work we all have to be police checked first because we come in contact with 'vulnerable' students. One particular example is one of the students at college who suffers from epileptic fits has accused one tutor of rape leading to abortion, and another of assault. The sad thing is when she has 'fits' she wakes up truly believing these things have happened to her.. the scarey thing is.. who's to say they haven't and why would anyone believe her anyway? Sad state of affairs.

meh... just glad i never had to (and never will) deal with that crap... radio's much more lech friendly... avoiding lawsuit-wise anyway.

I know that happens, and I agree with your disgust of it.

But one thing at a time. My girl is 5. Right now I'm just happy to see that she's willing and able to assert herself if she doesn't like the way she's being touched.
