Am I the only one that thinks there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the people in this world?
..Im a very caring person.. sometimes to a fault.... and yet... this world is fucked up enough to make me hate every last breathing thing sometimes.... I dont understand it... how people can be SUCH ASSHOLES when nothing is being done to them to give them reason....

.. Im just sick of seeing the world being run by men and women that could care less about someone other than themselves... im not talking about just heads of state and stuff.. Im talking about the people we see everyday... ... maybe im the only one... but if im not.. feel free to speak out.

I tend to stick to myself these days. I mean, I do have a few close friends, but its rare to find a geniunely good person, who doesn't have self-interest involved in their intentions. But then again, almost everyone does. I don't think everyone in the world is bad. People just tend to think differently, it just depends where you look, and how patient you can be to find out what the true colors are, of each person you meet I think. Because most of what you see is usually a front at first.

I agree with you full heartedly godess... but... I seem to have one major problem.. maybe its a flaw with me.. but for some reason the nicer I am.. the more I seem to find the people who care less about me... I mean.. I can only think of 2 to 3 friends that I hang out with that actually genuinly care about it.. and I count myself lucky for those...

But you can't cover your eyes from the fact that many people tend to take advantage of you and your feelings too strav. If you let people walk over you, then they're bound too. Don't be so naive. You remind me of me alot So I'm guessing you've endured your fair share of hurt. But your to blame for allowing it to repeatedly happen. Stand your ground, develop a more stronger character. Remember, people will respect you for respecting yourself too. But this doesn't mean entirely you have to change. But I guess the hardest part will be not caring so much. Because you sound like you have a big heart, I do too

Another good one that kinda ties in with respecting yourself combined with not getting walked all over is simply being aware of your limits.

If you get upset and people tell you that you get upset over nothing, accept that they're not going to get upset over it but try to help them to understand that if "it" was nothing to you... then obviously you wouldn't be upset.

Never extend or disregard your own personal limitations, never compromise morals or values or integrity because someone else told you that "You get upset too easily" or "You don't accept me for who I am" or any other combination remotely similar to that.

If a person is willing to drop their association with you simply because you won't let them treat you like dirt or you're sticking to your own limitations and standing by what you believe in then no matter how hard it may hurt at the time, remember that they're not worth your time / attention anyways.

I speak from experience and it's taken me over 2 yrs to reach a point where I can remotely believe that I'm a half decent human being. I come across as quite snotty and snobby and bitchy a lot of the time as well, but I don't have any patience for anybody who tries my boundaries and disrespects my values or morals. I'm not the most "popular" by a long shot, but the friends that I do have I know I can trust with anything.

I used to hate people because I didnt understand why they would hurt me.. and why my kidness was rewarded with cruelty... I was victim.. and played the part.... . I have changed a lot.. because.. you can only go through the fire so many times before you finally harden and it no longer hurts.... now.. I hate people simply from disgust... .. instead of looking at it as my own boundaries or the limitations I have.. I see the limitless filth inside others... I think its because I care too much about them.. i care for the people I dont evan know.. so when I see them being steped on.. or stepping on others... it effects me too much...
.. now.. just clear this up.. I dont think EVERYONE is horrible.. obviously since Im not living in a cave...

I dont know.. I could just be bitter because I had to strugle to survive all my life.. but.. in the end... it has made me stronger.. I just always question if I am strong enough to survive the next test...

If you cannot get hurt by people you dont really care about them anymore. If you dont care about them, they cant be your friend. You wont let them get close enough to actuallly matter to you.

As for people not caring anymore, well you yourself state that you dont care anymore. They have probably developed the same attitude, its a difficult world too live in. Everything goes fast and if you cant keep up your screwed. Lots of people arent cutting it these days and harden themselves to stop hurting.
