I have had the worst pain in my foot for about a month, and yesterday I couldn't even put weight on it.

Sooo, I went to the emergency room, and after 4 and a half hours of my life that I will never get back, I am diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis, which is a freaky name in itself, but basically an inflammation to the tendon in the bottom of your foot that causes a bone spur on your heel where the tendon attaches to the bone.

This is excruciatingly painful. I probably got it from walking so much at work.

What did they say for me to do?

Rest the foot so that it can heal.
Ice it.
Tape it.
Take pain pills.

Ok, except for the pain meds, I have been doing all that... for 4 weeks! And it hasn't gotten any better, but we'll see if I ice it more often at work if it helps.

But all that wasn't the point of this thread.

I'm mad now, because I thought that maybe they would amputate and I could get a pegleg and be a pirate!

But nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'll go take a vicodin now.

You might have Plantar Vaginitis. It's a disease that causes people to whine about how much their foot hurts. My recommendation is to go in and get a second opinion.

This is what I would have said to that doctor "Look Mother Fucker, I have stay of the damn foot, done all that shit you said, and it still hurts, now do something before I shove and enema tube up your ass and turn it on full blast"

I started wearing DMs or Birkenstocks.

I wanted to buy a parrot for my shoulder, and walk around with a pegleg clacking on the floor, and REALLY freak out my customer's when I answered the phone and said "Arrrrrrg, matey, extend the plank!"
