What about sex at a young age...say..15? 16? do you believe it to be wrong? if the kids are ready and their parents don't approve..well..should the parents get angry or ban the children from being together? My beliefs.... before marriage sure... no problems.... rather screw them first and see if I even like it than marry them and find out sex sucks with them and you are stuck for years having shitty sex.....

After 16 I think most people are pretty sexually mature except in some cases...... and they are going to have sex anyways regardless..... but 15 and younger is too young.....

i don't really care, i don't see it as my business when a person has sex, regardless of their age..if a kid decides they want sex there isnt much you can do about it other than make sure they dont give them self a disease.

I agree with having sex younger than 15. thats too young and most likely you aren't mature enough physically, mentally or even with sexual knowledge. Religon may also play a big role. But is sex really important? a teenagers view differs from that of an adult....

i think it's a gray area... im not condoning statutory or pedo or anything... but kids have hormones and are bound to experiment. they did it even when it was alright for a father to murder them both for it, so i doubt that anything nowadays is going to stop them. just make sure they're safe and try and teach them that IF they go about it, they have to be responsible.

I'm torn. I started having sex at 17. Although for 2 years prior to that I swore up and down that I'd already done it. Yeah, well I lied. It's hard to name an age that's appropriate for sex. Everyone emotionally matures at different rates. I'd say any age over 15. I know from experience that sex carries a lot of guilt with it. A lot of baggage. A lot of embarassment.

i am all for the letting them "mature" on their own as long as they have at least the knowledge of what is going on...my son is 10 and "some" of his friends are starting to hit the adult sites on the web... my son at least from what he says he still is not as intrested in that yet.... my daughter on the other hand is only 9 and she is still rather "childish" about the whole talk and stuff... but she definatly knows how to get guys to do what she wants.....

I don't believe doing it before marriage is wrong. While there are some young people that can decide for themselves, I do think there should be laws to protect them.

I don't believe parents really factor into the equation. If you are mature enough to decide these things, then well you are mature enough. I wouldn't expect teenagers to openly have sex with their parents around, but it should be understood by parents that their children might. Better to be safe and educated. Some schools don't believe in sex-ed because parents think their kids shouldn't be doing it in the first place. That is ignorance.

As long as both people agree to having "sex" it is alright, and aslong as they do it safely, or otherwise if you think you are be mature enough to have sex, also make sure you are mature enough to suffer the consequences (sp??) if you don't do it safe.
