when i got up this morning (afternoon) i turned on the tv so i could have some noise in the house but i had forgotten it was 9/11 so when i started seeing all the different shows and rememberence thingies about it, it just kinda hit me i wasent there but when you see people jumping out of forty story windows so as not to be burned to death that's something your glad you didn't see or atleast i am. but anyways my point is that when i left the house everyone was acting as if it was just another day and in a way it is but it's also going to be be in history books and shit and i just wonder how many people stopped and thought about all the people who lost husbands, wives, how many orphans there are going to be or you know just stuff like that.
one year later how many people took just a minute to think about all those people who lost their loved ones?

it hit me at odd moments during the day. Like i was walking up the stairs and i'd just suddenly think of where i was at that moment 12 years ago. and the scary part was i could almost remember.

and i went to a vigil tonight being held on campus. it was really nice, but the candle kept melting on me...
