In finland the average age of a university candidate is 26 as you've had to have spent 3 years in the forces and finnished your forced schooling... we start school at 4 and finnish when we're 21 then have to go through artics then get to go to uni.... FOR FREE!

Eh, going back to school is always a good thing. The actual schooling can be frustrating, but just get it over with. Once you have that degree, you'll be cool and all the guys will have crushes on you.

Well don't go back just to go back. I have many friend with art and english degrees that basically hand out fries. Noone wants a grad with an easy degree. keep that in mind...

An English degree is not an easy degree. I majored in English, and did more work that I'd ever done in my life. I should kick your ass for that, but this is the Internet, and I have no concrete access to you. *sigh*

I'm sure it is hard. (For some people) I'm just saying that people have a hard time finding jobs in that area.

i'm basically applying to the english equivalent of harvard or yale and i'm expecting to have to run my ass ragged working harder than i've ever done. you don't get something for nothing and i don't want an easy ride.

this is insane. in a completely unhinged and what the fuck was i thinking way. what am i doing? i know education is basically a good thing but still i ask myself what the fuck am i doing?
