I'm not so sure about the Teletubbies being a rumour . . . . I've only seen two episodes, but . . . . . damn.

The first episode involved Po running around and dancing in a tutu. The narrator says 'Then, it was LaLa's turn to wear the skirt!' Then LaLa dances around in the tutu and the narrator says 'Then, it was TinkyWinky's turn to wear the skirt!' and TinkyWinky's having a good ole time dancing away when the narrator says 'Then, it was Dipsy's turn to wear the skirt!' TinkyWinky put up one big assed fight over that tutu . . . .

The other episode I turned off as quickly as I turned it on when I saw TinkyWinky bending over his garden and the other male one poking him in the butt with a pole and TinkyWinky going 'Woohoo!'

I think that the tinky winky question is more an issue of his colour (purple which is apparently a gay colour)
and his handbag. Also his antena is supposed to be a gay shape what ever the fuck that means.

Personally I don't see how "he" could possibly be gay as "he" has no arsehole or penis. Camp though I can quite understand.

The original tinky winky actor was fired for running around the set naked, but I think I mentioned that earlier.

About 45 minutes south of here is gay central. All of the things mentioned are little shows of homosexuality, like triangles. Bumper stickers, pins, sometimes shirts if they're really into gay pride. I don't know why purple is the colour of homosexuality, but if you, as a male, don't want to get hit on in the aforementioned location, you're not going to want to wear purple.

I still have no idea what this 'Rainbow for Zippy' nonsense is about.

blues clues in the uk is presented by a different guy, but they use the same cartoon background for the episodes.
