i was in nhs and honors and i'm the most brooding, terrible person i know. i've said it before and i'll say it again, gpa's and honors etc are just labels bestowed by middle-aged idiots so they feel like they're doing their jobs. give them a break...

I certainly hope, for your sake, that either:

A) You are an absolutely remarkable poetic talent, or

B) You have a big, fat trust fund

because otherwise, you won't be travelling anywhere you can't walk or hitchhike. Does the term starving artist mean anything to you? I hope so, because that's where you're headed. No one writes poetry for the fame and travel opportunities.
