so i'm chillin in my pad when my parents suddenly just come over. no biggie, i let'em in and we have a little cozy conversation goin on, it's snowin and my tree's already lit. some of you may know that this tree never went down in the first place.
my mom goes "you're lookin thinner". bit of background:
since i was 17 i've been dealin with a bit of an eating problem. in summary, i'm dealing with a mild case of anorexia. but see i say this to you with ease now because i've come to terms with this fact, and it becomes less of a hurtful thing to your own life when it's out in the open.
so yeah, my parents know this, all about it. i let'em know every tidbit of info and history. they've been good people to me, they don't deserve that sorta secret keepin.

so anyway, i'm sittin there explainin that i've been busy and yeah, with the kinda lifestyle i've been dealin with i probably have just sorta lost a bit here or there. but mom.. it's no reason to worry.

is it lack of eating due to self-image or cause you're just too depressed/sad/lazy/whatever to make something to eat? the latter is my eating problem. and having a high level of metabolism (that girls would murder for) doesn't help..

it's control. and a bit of a fear of becoming old. sometimes i'll be too busy and it just makes for a good cop out, but in my head i know what's up.
i get nosebleeds a lot though. it's been a bit better recently.

mainly what i was sayin was that nothin's changed. i just gotta be more mindful of what i'm doing. that's the problem anymore, is like quiet said. you just have other things on your mind and food is the last thing you'll attempt to work into your schedule.
though you are right. it is something to worry about. can't really get around that.

anyway... do you know what causes the nose bleeds?

probably a lack of a nutrient. i know i lack potassium. that's the cause of a lot of cramps and heart murmurs.
that or it's my menstrual cycle.

ever had a doctor examine your blood? for all the necessary ingredients and stuff...

i've had that done this week, together with a necessary blood test cos of this weird cyste that appeared in my neck

yeah. he said my blood was fine. i had an ekg done on my heart too and the guy said it was because of poor sleeping habits. i get about 6 hours of sleep a night. it's not 8 (which i'm not convinced a person needs) but it's still good sleep.
i say the guy was a nincompoop.

is the cyst cancerous?

the doc said it's 100% certain NOT harmful. just some weird thing... grew overnight (yuck) have to get it scanned in hospital next week and then maybe they'll cut it away or something... i have no clue actually. can't scar my neck!

yeah.. this is my fifth year dealin with it. the first year i actually realized there was nothin wrong with just telling people what was going on in my head. i wish i knew what you did to just get past it, cuz all i can seem to do is deal with it.
