I have acquired a new .357 magnum Taurus. With both rounds for target practice and 158 grain jacketed hollow point . . .
I got it strickly for target practice and self-defence. However I still feel uncertain about it. I thought this would be as good a place as any to discuss feelings on firearms.

I dunno. I just couldn't see myself pulling a gun on anybody before I'd tear them to pieces with my bare hands, even if they had a gun pointed at my face. I get really stubborn and animalistic with stuff like that.

JobeX and Lunatic are both right...the person that would win would be the person with faster reflexes if the gun is at point blank range. It would come down to if the person can knock the gun aside before the trigger can be pulled.
