One of my new year's resolutions was to stop wasting precious moments on the internet to strengthen my college applications, but so much has happened as of late that I simply must divulge what has been happening in my life.

I don't think I got into the matter of my taking greek this semester, which would have been an independent study. My latin teacher, who is very impressed with how I've done in that class, asked if I would be interested in taking greek by myself this semester. I nearly jumped at the chance, until I found out that Harlotte was taking gym that same block. My choice was obvious, getting to see Harlotte's graceful motions and perhaps getting to be her gym partner. It took quite a bit of explaining to justify why I was taking gym again when I have a reputation for hating physical activities, but when I stated emphatically that I was out of shape (not really..) she didn't press the subject any further.

Now that it has been three weeks into the semester, I can wholeheartedly say what a stupid mistake I have made. Not only did I not get Harlotte as a gym partner, (that matter is another post altogether) but I found out that she's utterly and secretly in love with me anyway!

Upon returning to school the first day, I found an anonymous love letter in my locker in her handwriting. It was then that I knew that the magic we had experienced on New Year's Eve was as true in her heart as it was in mine, and I nearly ran to her in ecstasy. There is a problem, however: she seems far more withdrawn from me than she has ever been. Becoming my gym partner did not materialize, and I see less and less of her at lunch, which has encouraged me to take my constitutions earlier and earlier. I feel that she is intimidated by the great burden she must feel at loving me and is afraid to express it, for loving me could only be the heaviest of matters.

I must be back to outlining my bacculareate thesis I'll be doing in four years, but I'm almost certain that she'll run into my arms yet.

I am beggining to believe that he is not an alter ego, but an actual highschool kid who is really funny. The slow pace he posts and such are almost identicle ot real life, if this was just a story he would have had big story arcs by now, and yet he doesnt. Seems to me like its real.

I googled him when he posted a name a couple weeks ago. Apparently he belongs to more than one forum and has more than one tale to tell.

What I meant was he tells a different ongoing story to different forums. The one I read about was something regarding a preacher and his wife.
