Sometimes I find it so hard to get motivated to do my work, even though I know it's bad to leave 'till the last minute and rush. It's so hard to get started, but once I take that step, I can get up a good rhythm. Take now for example. I'm online bitching about my bad work ethic instead of getting on with it.

I know exactly how you feel. I can be such a lazy person somteimes.... maybe its my nature I really dont know.
I find that getting someone to remind you to do something if you need it done is helpful. I have my friend chelsea helping me to quit biting my nails... she tells me everytime she sees me biting. Maybe if you wrote stuff down around your computer monitor such as "GET TO WORK" or "WHERE ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE RIGHT NOW? or "WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE DOING RIGHT NOW?" You know what i mean?
well I am not sure if this is any good...
maybe try getting into the habit of doing such things, or getting a schedule or... whats the word... jeepers... ummm a pattern... no.. a... grrrr! you know, doing the same things at the same time every day to help you get going and then at least you will know what it is you are doing at that point in time on certain days...
*shrugs*
maybe i should take my own advice... cause if it werent for school i would be sitting at home on my computer in my room with the lights off and my headphones on every single day. and considering i am too lazy to even get up and go to the bathroom sometimes... well... ya.
*sighs*

Ususally I think about how much it is going to end up costing me in tuition fees if I have to repeat a unit because I don't do my work and get a good grade. Financial loss is a real motivator.
