I have heard in the chat room that The Lost One recently tried to comment suicide. She is NOT doing well she lost a lot of blood. Let all hope she comes back. I now shes new and all but still. If she does come back please don't attack her for it. Let all just hope she comes back ok. I hate to see this happen

Do i have any sympathy? in an answer, NO!!! fuck the bitch. if she wants to kill herself, why should we not support her in what she wants to do with her life then the selfish act of wanting her to live though she may not wish to.

Hence, "heartless bastard"! Nobody really wants to kill themselves. They may at times think they do because it's an easy way out. However ask anybody who has been suicidal and lived past it how they feel about it. They'll most likely tell you they're happy to be alive. The Lost One will have better times ahead of her in her life if she hangs in there and I want that for her.

In a nutshell though.... If someone wants to end thier life... than they will regardless of what anyone says.... i would sympathize more with someone who has a life threatening disease and wants to live.... so I agree with CRYPT on this one....

suicidal folks really do want to die... if someone is considering themselves suicidal and they in truth do not want to die... they are not suicidal... simple as that.....

I may be a heartless bastard, but at least i admit it and am proud of the fact. Oh and the thought about suicide is full of shit. I have known people who have wanted to die and have. I have also known people who have tried to kill themselves and failed and have tried and tried again. Oh and i have known someone who tried to kill themselves and blamed me for it. Interesting i get blamed for her failed suicide attempt, when truly the motive just wasn't there.

Sure, if people THINK they want to die because it's an easy way out, as I have said, they sometimes will if given the opportunity. I'm not denying that. What I am saying is that if someone had helped them get through the hard stage they were going through at that time (cared about them, got them on meds, etc...) and they had lived instead of killing themselves, I bet they'd be thankful for it. I AM one of these people and although someone like you may have wished for me to kill myself, I'm happy now that I didn't. Also, I don't want you to think I'm attacking you because I said heartless bastard. Who wants to live forever, shit i plan on taking myself out if i get to the age of like 50, or my body complely goes out on me. so pull your head out of your ass for a second and think. there are some people better off dead. its not them taking the easy way out, it just is. Shit when my Mom found out she had cancer, and she talked about ending it then going through the pain, did i say , "no please don't its better to fit and try to win", or "no Mom, we need you here things will get better" fuck that, my response, was "if it gets to the point thwre you think you'd be better off dead, see ya and have a good trip"

If you will refer to my topic"final exit" in literature, I think you'll see that I feel totally differently if it is the case of someone with a fatal illness who just suffers waiting to die. That IS different. But I was assuming that wasn't the case here, with The Lost One, who may just be going through a state of depression, which is curable.
