Yeah...I used to feel that way too unfortunantly. I wish I hadn't! I could be making fucking extra cash on the side working one weekend a month cleaning machine guns and have school PAID for! Dammit! Now I have a child and I can't leave her for 3 month bootcamp. I wish I had done it before having kids. I have a friend I graduated with and she did the Airforce reserve thing and they paid for her college...now she's making $200,000 a year selling the little metal things that they use to reconstruct broken bones in the face to doctors...she's dating my brother now and they go on vacation like twice a month.

Furthermore...Uncle Sam does in fact know how to Party! That fucker sent my family around the globe when I was a kid. Every weekend we were visiting castles or ruins...I learned to ski in the Bavarian Alps...I went to camp in Switzerland...fucking Spain for family vacation, Amsterdamn for H.S. track, We kicked it hard and stomped all over Europe like the damn Van tramp family or Chevy Chase and the crew. "Freeee riiiiide.....take it eeeaaasyyy..."
Hell our medical was FREE...(my fucking parents had it made!) HOUSING WAS FREE!!! My dad was an officer too so we got to live in an actual HOUSE for free in the village of the town we were stationed in. Watching naked people walk around the beech eating my italian ice...going to the liquer store at 13 to buy applecorn with my allowance...drunk in the graveyard with my friends running around during carnival like a freak. Will life ever be that easy again? I should of joined the Airforce for 2 years.

You would do well to check out agracultural subsidies (and the friction this causes near the mexican border), as well as the row on steel import taxes, which angered a lot of nations. (The latter move was even illegal, unsanctioned by the WTO. Bush doesn't care... Arrogant as he is.)

As for my ancestors...WRONG. They are English, Europeans, Africans, Asians and Native Americans and even my island brothers form the Carribeans. They all came here or were forced here for different reasons...to escape religious persecution, slavery, etc.... They were not all innocent. Yes the Indians were overpowered in battle and done wrong, yes...my grandfathers were forced by the whip to build this nation from the earth with their blood and sweat and tears, yes my European brothers were greety but smart and from them sprang our government...which today after many battles allows us all to live together with equal rights if we chose. Some of what those early Europeans did is just as bad as Hitler...I know. But today is a different story. We aren't going anywhere bombing people to take over. We are simply helping people that are being persecuted. Had their been no french revolution...would the slaves in the islands be free today? They won't employ my boyfriend because he's a felon. Actually they will employ you though. Maybe not in the active military...but...the Site that Sire gave will get you a federal job...so you won't be a ranking military personel but you will hold a federal job meaning that you are entitled to some federal benefits...if there are any...I'm not sure about how that works but I had a friend that worked for the federal post office and he was doing quite well then again I hear some fed jobs have suck ass pay. Actually what I like about the site is you can find a job in ANY state before you actually move there...then find another job if you want once you get on your feet.
