Someone from another forum I read was involved in an accident yesterday.

Basically, a car rally was going one direction, the scooter rally was going the other.

"Just talked to someone who was on the ride and he described the accident as a young early 20's kid driving an Lexus SC300 50-55mph around a 25mph turn loosing control, locking his brakes up and skidding into the on coming lane hitting Josh head on. Josh was on his Green Laser (not leading but in the middle of the pack) which was thrown some 100 yards backwards and down into a ravine. Both car and scooter are totaled."

I'm going to take a guess and say this Lexus rally wasn't exactly legal. Best of luck to Mr. Driftunit in court...he's gonna need it.

Fuck. I hope he was wearing full prot-gear and wish him a speedy recovery.

I haven't been able to ride this past season since was in a car crash myself. I'd never ride a scooter though. I hate them.

There's alot on there about the idiot in the lexus trying to drift or something. i had to laugh at that fool in the youtube video posted - who tried to drift what looked like a front wheel drive, factory fit peugeot 306 and ended up flipping it. though i was absolutely shocked at the retards standing watching there (who obviously were there to just see them do that) who didnt think that perhaps the oncoming scooters may be in some danger. i blame them even more than the idiot driving for almost killing those scooter riders.

couple of days ago, some kid tried to drift around a long tight corner on the road i take to work and uni and back almost every day. he shat himself and spun it when i decided to fly round infront of him on the inside at 85 mph. shouldn't be doing that shit.

i wouldnt have cared if he had hit me, his fault for dangerous driving on a public road and i'd pretty much get a new car out of my insurance payment. not that my old roccy would care if a nonce in a big piece of plastic slid into it.
