conclusion; Green LED are cheaper than any other colour of LED

I want blue LED on my next wireless router and i'll pay the extra for it

as far as i remember from when i was last buying LEDs as components, red and green were the same price, and i think red might have actually been a tiny bit cheaper....

but blue LEDs were almost ten times the price per unit.

Heh, Just buy in bulk so they get cheaper!

when i last looked, £1.15 pu for blue LED, under 10p for a red LED.

don't drop too much when bought in bulk, only about 1-2p pu.
