speaking of collapsing, i had a rough time of it yesterday. i think i need to rearrange my workout plans. i've been doing 30 minutes on the elliptical every day, even the first day at the gym. but yesterday i only made it to 20. i simply couldn't do it anymore. felt shaky and weird. i'm very disappointed.

back at it today, though. i don't know what happened yesterday.

Shoveling 3ft of snow packed in drifts for my and my neighbor

eek! no thanks. i've never even SEEN enough snow to shovel. it snowed here last easter, oddly enough. almost 6 inches in my yard, we measured it by oil-lamp light because the electricity was out... played in it for hours and built a snow-bunny (easter)....

first time i'd ever seen it snow.

When I was stationed in Wichita Falls, we got 18 inches overnight and it was fun watching all the Texans trying to drive.

I spent the day as part of a detail digging out those stuck on the side of the interstate.

i just can't even imagine what that would be like. and i certainly wouldn't be trying to drive unless it was an emergency. we were driving that night last easter when it began to snow, and it was awful. the car just goes wherever it wants. guess it takes a lot of practice

I grew up in it and have never had a winter without snow or ice on the roads.

I love how people forget how to drive in the first snow fall of the winter.... i swear people just get stupid

well, in my defense, i've never had any chance to learn.

I could teach you. I used to teach defensive driveing, flightline driving and ambulance emergency handling.

Hell.. I survived 3 NorEaster blizzards ( 4+ feet of snow overnight plus the daytime falling ) and one here in utah, 2 tornadoes, 1 hurricane, several flash floods, 6pointer earthquake ( and many many lesser ) Heh, i sleep through anything less than a 4.3 , Hmm, missed the eruption back when at shasta by a day.. LOL guess i haven't missed much of mother natures doing.. OH, and was a wildfire fighter.. Still certed as a crew leader as well!!
