I do more spell checking nowadays than I would like. If I'm reading a book, and there is an error on it, I get mad at the editor for being an idiot... guess I'm gearing up for my profession.

it's a difference between playing dressup and actually dressing up. A woman will know the difference.

But the ones that appreciate it are the ones that see the attention to detail and expect to be treated with the same attention.

true. Just be sure to act confident, but not cocky. And as if you're comfortable dressed that way.
