This is where one could make a case for mandatory sterilization after a certain point....

Why because you dont think people should be allowed to breed? You dont and probably wont by choice or by force of your ugly soul, does that make you bitter to see someone else enjoy life and the beauty of life?

my question is, are the parents supporting the kids without any federal aid? if so, then let 'em do what they will. many people these days do not procreate, and many of those kids will likely die before creating new children, so it'll likely balance out over the long run.

if, however, she's just popping out little welfare checks in an effort to take MY tax money that could be better used to... well, do ANYTHING, then yeah, she should have stopped 19 or so kids ago.

I dont think its wrong. As long they can afford to look after the kids properly, which i think they can, I don't see anything wrong with it.

No, because anything in excess is never a good thing, including having kids.

I believe the majority of their income at this time is from discovery channel doing specials on them. and how they raise their kids. As they are all home schooled.

They are real estate agents. They used to be senators. You know there is nothing wrong with 4 or 5 kids(Hell between both of my parents I had 5 siblings till my little brother died). 7-9 was understandable till about the 70's(My dad had 7 sibs, my mom had 8). However, considering the current world's population, procreating till menopause is a really bad idea, never mind the possible genetic problems that could arise as a result of a late in life pregnancy, not to mention giving all those kids attention.

I just read this the other day. It'd be insane to take care of all of them.

I did see part of this on television once a while back and that woman was told by her doctor to stop having kids because she was putting her health and life at risk and she declined saying that she felt that God wanted her to have more kids. While I believe this woman should be entitled to her own choices and beliefs (no matter how much I disagree with them) I think that something like say, oh INJURY or DEATH would be incentive to stop now. I don't find it too responsible to leave 17 other kids with a mother who was infirm by her own choice or worse yet without one.

This is all part of the downfall of society. It is a statistical fact that uneducated people have more children then intelligent people and, thus, the world is on a downward trend of intellect. Too many children are being born as it is. It isn't wrong to have 18 kids, but it sure is damn annoying.

The scarier part is how they dress them like little clones of themselves. I'm starting to smell narcissism.

Geez already after two I stopped.......my Dad was 15th of 16, so there ya go, I guess....but back then (my Dad is in his late 60s) you COULD do that and not (really) worry about it.......he was raised on a farm and my Grandmother did all that WITHOUT being an insta-celebrity about it...

16 kids is where they started paying attention.. 17th got lots more.. this one is gonna be publicised to death.. Maybe hers is the health rumors are true..

I personally don't think the human body is made to tolerate have that man children period, especially in how close of a timespan it has been, doubly so with the fact that growing a child in a womb requires everything come from the mother

Average cost to raise 1 child from infancy to adult hood is one million dollars, and if you include education it's more like 1.5.

I just look at it logistically. If you've got so many kids that you need your kids to take care of your kids for you, well...you've got too many kids. The fact that God hasn't told you to stop yet isn' t an issue. Looks like she'll just keep squirting them out until she hits menopause, her uterus falls out, or she runs out of names that begin with the letter 'J'.

Its because "intelligent" people are actually the biggest douche-bags on earth and no one will sit still long enough to fuck them to breed with them.
