I happen to think my boyfriend is so pretty-- long black hair & he dresses rather gothy. Anyway, the man my mom married is this football coach conformist bastard kind of dude. He's all babbling to my mom about 'I'm not f*cking talking to that . . . . until he cuts his hair and gets some new F***ing clothes . . . he looks like he's on drugs . . .' BLAH BLAH BLAH. I'm just sitting there about to die laughing. What makes his rant even funnier is that the man's own sons are a bunch of fraternity drunks [but you see, that's OK since they play football  ] and my boyfriend is entirely straight edge.

my mom is just happy that i bring home guys *l*...tho she has no idea that i have had girlfriends....*shrugs* if she knew..she would flip..and disown me..and we hardly talk as is..and dont see eachother at all..so she doesnt need to know...
my mom was always easily impressed with my guys...they open a car door for me ...and she loves them...then again..she is on a lot of medication *l*

Yeah. My parents pretty much hate all my boyfriends. Probably, because I won't come home until 3:30 in the morning...but why should I care? It's my life, my significant other..not their's. If they got a problem with it...oh well.
As for the football deal...yeah. Pretty much the same here.

She wasn't scared of him because she, herself, engaged in teen rebellion or whatever you want to call it. Not only that, but she completely respects me & trusts me to make good decisions.
The Beastmaster, however, has no such mental maturity. Conformity through & through is he. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't hate people for looking differently or doing things differently than he.

my momdissapproves of my b/f because he's 2 and a half years younger than me. she thinks i'm "lowering" my self to his level by dating him  even though he acts about 5 years older than me....(hell i'm the immature one in the relationship)
and well, i guess the fact that he over dosed on triple c once doesn't help....but he is straight now, no drugs for him

My parents like Shadow. It did take mom a bit to get past the long hair, and the fact that Shadow doesn't talk much to people he doesn't know. Once Shadow started talking they realized that in spite of the long hair, and the trench coat, he was a great guy. All three of them are very fond of him now.
BTW Duchy - Shadow is 3 years younger than I am

My parents don't get a say in who I choose to date, and they have never interfered anyway as they believe it to be my choice and they stand by the fact that if I am happy than it is ok I guess my parents are pretty cool...but then I am nearly 22 so they see me as mature enough to choose (unfortunalty most of the guys and girls I have dated have turned out to be the worst fucking choices I have ever made) but hey...life goes on
