After Christmas let-down. I got all my presents. We ate all the food. Played poker. Got shitty. And now it's the day after Christmas day, and there's nothing to do. I <3 my mom. I'm glad I made the drive down here.

But I'm so booooooooooored. And she's asked me 3 times in the last few minutes.... "whatcha doin'." And I answer, "Looking at stuff."

And then just now she says, "Oh. You're on that thing you go to. -insert sigh- I don't get to see you much..... but go ahead. NO NO. Go ahead. I'll just read my paper."

Boooooooooo. She's been reading DF over my shoulder since I was 16 years old. She loves you people. She's particularly amused by Billy.

My mother thinks you're funny. We bought her and my stepdad a laptop for Christmas, and neither are technologically inclined. So I've been showing her how to use the internet. I showed her DF.

My Dad used to make fun of me for comming here, and he called me the "count" and made a funny sign that said "the count is in" for my bedroom door.

I was goth-ish when I started comming here and living with him still... It was kinda funny, guess ya had to be there.

My brother used to come here very briefly and so did my girlfriend.

i didn't start coming here until i was living on my own, but i come from a largely coventional family. by that, i do mean christian. so, suffice to say, there would have been some huge misconceptions.
i think my dad would have taken it about the same as your dad though. i had a goth-ish stage and he was pretty mildly humored about it.

Welllllll... I've been on here for a long time. And since I have my skin set to the very distinctive DF original, she's been seeing the page for 5 years. She's used to it. I finally explained to her that it's not a cult or anything.

And my mom's met Pyrric, BeautysDemise, and antihero in real life. My mom hit on anti, and then told me later that she "wouldn't kick him out of bed."

It's.....interesting. Mother and father could care less whether I post here, who the hell else posts here, or about the skin that displays the posts. Plenty of other places on the net than darkforum to associate with.

My mom forced me to make her a new email because anything I had either had "Darksites.com" at the end of it, or "Sin" or "Sinistress" or "sexwithsin.com" on it. (I didn't bother to tell her about that one even, figured she'd freak)
