This is such bullshit. As long as people have access to the knowledge of how KFC (or any restaurant, for that matter) prepares their food and has access to the nutritional information of what they're eating, it should be up to them whether or not to eat it, and the company shouldn't be sued for making people fat and unhealthy.

If that's the case, what's to stop kids from suing their parents for giving them bad eating habits?

The McDonald's thing yes, but I never heard they won. I thought they had a tough time proving they had a case because the lawyers had to prove that McDonald's marketing strategy indicated that one should eat, and only eat, McDonald's food.

They might have settled out of court, I honestly didn't follow it too closely, and some of the info was second hand. But you must remember this was following the old lady who sued mcdonalds because she spilled hot coffee in her lap

Right, right. And I studied that case concerning the old man and the R.V. in college...I can't remember his name, but he had a valid case. The dealer who sold it to him explained to him, more or less, that "Cruise control enables the vehicle to drive by itself."
