That's shitty, the worst we get around here is power outages from too much snow and ice. No one's ever had house damage or any of that jazz.

Don't know about the damage yet. I know that it doesn't sound like much as far as volume goes. But there's only about 700 people that live in Summerdale. Right on the tale of Ivan.

Of course. He survived Hurricane Ivan. And now he's survived Nameless Tornado #1.

I was a trooper. I even helped save an old bed-ridden lady whose porch collapsed. We ran out of the house and she was screaming. And a whole bunch of people on my street carried her on a blanket to someone's carport. The ambulances and fire trucks came about 45 minutes later.

Holy! Makes me appreciate the boring praries all the more.

No. We were running because we heard someone screaming. The older woman was bedridden. Her house was collapsing, and her gas lines were leaking. Ambulance and fire trucks nowhere in sight.

I remember the time a few years back when we had a Tornado warning in New Hampshire of all places. That was great fun, we took refuge at my grandparents house when the sky turned a green color.

My house is umm... still there. Mostly. My back porch is flattened, some shingle damage, and there are holes in the brick. Debris was smacking the side of my house.

Not sure what the cost will be. I rent. My landlord's wife is my boss's brother's wife's cousin. He's a good guy. With his insurance settlement, I'm getting a deck built.
