I was talking to Tozzy on AIM, and our conversation reminded me of something.

I don't know how it is in England, but here in the good ol' US of A we have these things I affectionately call G-THUG ALLSTARS... or Wiggers, if you will. The only thing worse than an upper middle class white boy acting "hardcore" and "from da streetz" is his girlfriend.

You know the type. They're either overweight or severely underweight white girls, with long fingernails, K-Swiss shoes, and a baby-doll shirt that says something really witty like "Diva".

And if you're ever in the mall, they stare at you and DARE you to look at them wrong. After which they'll shake that nasty tuna finger in your face and say "Oh, hell nah you didn't look at me like dat." And if you're as disgustingly intelligent as me and attempt to battle them verbally... they'll say "Fuck you, bitch!" to everything. Or if you're as scary diesel bad ass as I am, they might say "If I wasn't on probation, I'd kick your ass, bitch."


Until I'm forced to shove my fist in her face to shut her the FUCK UP.

i usually walk off, stick my middle finger up over my shoulder and keep walking. they usually blab some shit like "hey dun ignor ma hey like init yea im torkin ya fukun idyit hey yea like oi yea..." and then do that slow down and go quiet and stop thing usually ending in "loser" or "greebo" or something pathetic like that.

i don't get as much shit from them when i'm walking around in my biker leathers.

This is true. I've noticed recently that even though Chavism is now something that is instantly recognisable... The Chavs still seem to think they look / sound cool.

Oh yea, and - I went out the other night, and a group of Chavs shouted at us 'You're Goth, so fuck-goth' which I thought was extremely witty.

the one thing that really fucks me off with fights with chavs, is they always have to have their "crew" they can't fight one on one for themselves. just don't have any balls.

these four lines have got me in and out of more confrontations than i can remember -

Chav - "yea lik my mate wil kik ur head in"
Me - "why? are you too pussy to do it yourself?"
Chav - "no"
Me - "prove it."

Though i generally just prefer to walk away from fights. i'm scared what i'll do.

Ah.. the downfall. Unfortunately my mouth overloads itself occasionally. And I've been in some sketchy situations. I'm still ticking, though. The trick is to beat the utter shit out of at least one. That way you're not a total loser.

It's better to walk away anyway cos that really does confuse them. They're looking for a reaction, and when they don't get one, they're all like 'duh, what do I do now?'

also the "im goth" and the "im chav" thing i've noticed is opposite. chavs will do everything they can to deny being chav, but wannabe goths will do everything they can to say and prove they are goth. (theres no proving with a chav as they usually don't have the intellect.)
