There is special cleaners for that stuff at Wal-Mart type stores. Also, I think I heard once that if you put it in the freezer, you can scrape it off. But, that might have been gum, I forget. yep, i think that is gum. Candle was usually flows right through and in between all the fibres, making it near impossible to get out. I have never been able to do it. So if there is a way...err i guess i should keep my eyes on this thread also

it depends on what fabric and or colour the clothes are.
I've used a blowdryer for getting it off a couch before (it actually worked)
and another time I had a white top with wax on it..I boiled water in a small pot, put a metal object half way in the water and let it get hot, and carefully run it under the shirt (wax facing down you dont want to pull it farther into the the fabric) hold the metal with some thick gloves because the wax, depending on how much there is will run down it. and lightly blotch the fabric with a kneenex or something You might have to repeat the whole process a couple times.
If it's black clothes i dunno if that would work.
that whole thing probably just confused you, but i've had to much coffee today and can't be arsed to try and make it more pleasing to read. don't forget your happy face...

I've heard of using an ice cube on wax as well as gum. But I think the best bet would be to go to Wal-Mart or somewhere like that and see if they have something for it. God knows they have everything else...

I do this all the time. I get it out by turning on the iron to low, putting a sheet of wax paper over the wax stain on the clothes or carpet, and ironing over the wax paper until all the wax adheres and is off the clothiing. It takes some practice to not also melt the wax paper, though. I would rather be whole than good. ~Jung

You can also use newsprint or plain old brown paper.
If the material is Acrylic based and the candle is too make sure you don't wash it or the polymers will permanantly coheise.
If in doubt, a dry cleaner will get it out. guess who used to work in the fashion industry

i used to have to remove it every night from my dance clothes when i was still stripping, I did a candle wax act and got the crap everywhere. I used to try to scrape as much as possible off then put a paper towel over the remaining spot then go over it with a hot curling iron, moving the paper so it was fresh as soon as it soaked up a spot. Works pretty well. I need more money and power, and less shit from you people! To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

it depends on a few things... the club, the city, how you look, how you dance, how good at hustling, and above all how much confidence you exude. I was the top girl at my club for many years sometimes making great money (made $3600 in an hour) and sometimes making squat (i made $4 once in a 6 hr shift) ... but on average I made about 150 a night. But it is a hard thing to do for long, stay out of the drugs, booze and away from going out with customers (which i never did) but the booze and coke almost killed me litterally and I cant even go in a strip joint now I start panicing. I wouldn't want anyone i love to start doing it, but if you do it like once it is alot of fun. I need more money and power, and less shit from you people! I think this can stay here, I can already see the offshoot conversations starting, this could be in advice too... But anyway... Brown paper, I don't know if you get it where you are, not specifically the brown paper used for shopping bags but that could work! And a hot iron. Place the paper on the wax and basically iron it off. That's it, keep repeating it ovvvver and over again, with new brown paper that is. Remember to recycle the paper afterwards

votes for the paper bag and ironing method, it worked on my grandmother's antique hand crocheted table cloth She always did look funny at me when i'd ask her such questions, like she couldn't imagine why i would get wax on my clothes...*giggles* To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
