It's just a blanket term, rather than making it appeal to just goths by saying "morbidly obeise" they're saying "torrid" so they can get plus sized industrialites in on it too...

Actually I'm pretty offended that Hot Topic did that... it promotes a division that most subcultures aren't comfortable with. The principles of the entire action are just wrong.

...but then, we already know they sold out (not in the amount of merchandise way).

i was wondering if they were purposely playing on the word torrid. they created a division specifically for large women, but yet the word that they chose includes in it's definition 'rapid growth' as in getting larger.

Somethings definatly up...
