What I don't understand is how Seattle has the highest suicide rate in the country, yet isn't on the most unhappy list. Granted, I love the city to death, and I want to live there and die there, but you think there'd be some correlation between suicide and unhappiness... | |

Spokane, WA should be on that list. I know I want to slit my wrists when I think about living here...well, actually, I just want everyone else to slit their wrists so I don't have to live near them anymore.
I can't figure out why Portland made the 20 most depressed. I've been there and its beautiful. I love it a hell of a lot more than Seattle, its got a much better vibe.

20 most depressed for my city.
What suprises me is Stockton, CA being happy. They have some of the worst crime in the state. Hell, I was only there for about 2 hours a couple years ago and I got my tire slashed. And the time before that we had to stay in some crappy hotel and heard gunshots all night. But that was many years ago. | |
