Mine was Brandy wine, then Choclate Cherry, then Black rose then I bleeched the hell out of it a couple of weeks ago and it was cartoon gold...then I put a red intensifier on top of that and it turned out to be this strawberry blonde color...so I'm gonna stick with this for a minute or two...and then go back to a Bloody black color.

Always by the most expensive dye. L'Oreals new shit works good. One without amonia and with conditioners.
Only bleech all the color out once or twice in a lifetime. If your one of those people who bleech your hair to white and then bright blue etc... take extra precautions and really condition well. Only rebleach the new growth also.
Use a real good shampoo and conditioner. Pantene Color revive is cool.
Deep condition it well.
You can even use a leave in conditioner or a mouse with moisture and vitamins etc....
My hair always looks brand new and shiney after I dye it...I am a hair product freak...I condition the hell out of my hair and even after my last episode of dying mania...my hair is soft and shiney.

It was dark brown with natural sunset highlights in the summer...I usually let the natural color grow back out for about 3 years before I go all crazy again.

Hey you guys you can make your own colors too ya know. They have this color intensifier shit and you just add it to your hair dye and all kinds of wierd shit...go to like Sallys beauty supply or some kind of beauty supply place for pro's. Just READ the box carefully...I'm sure if you mixed certain chemicals you could have a big mess on your head.

my hair is brown and i was bored so i got highlights, didn't really like them and was bored again so i got lowlights to sort of cover the blonde a bit, so now it just looks a bit gingery browny? I'm bored again though. Suppose I'll have to cut it next. | |

Actually starface, if you refrain from using bleach then your hair will be much better off...instead use something like 7th stage which will do the same thing bleach does only without completely killing your hair and making it feel like straw.
Don't use over 30 volume peroxide and you should be alright with that.
Use a deep conditioner and a conditioning mask after you color your hair for like 2 weeks afterwards and before you put color on your hair, wash and blowdry it but leave a tiny bit of conditioner in before you blowdry it. And always use low heat.
I myself, have dyed the fuck out of my hair, and i DON'T remember my natural color, but it's still quite lovely. My hair is my vanity.

My hair horror story, real quick:
I went platinum in September. I let it grow partway out, then dyed it black. Then I retouched it with black, and my hair turned purple. So I went to have it stripped. 150 dollars and 5 hours later, my hair was orange. So I let it sit. And it picked something up from the water and my shampoo, and now is dark brown, orange, red, blonde, and black. And I actually kinda like it.
Btw, my natural hair color is a bright sunshine blonde. Think barbie doll blonde.
