We've won the FA cup a few times actually. West Ham played in the very firast FA cup final at Wembley in 1923 against Bolton.

We're still working on the Premiership title.

Do they televise all the matches over there? Carling Cup, Premiership, FA Cup, etc? It's fucking HELL trying to get them here. Pay-Per-View shows only major Premiership games. Fox Soccer Channel covers some of the bigger names in the FA Cup. But I don't get to watch some of the ones I really want to watch.

Only on skybsb (sat) do you get the premiership matches and they are pay-for-view (you also have to pay a monthly subscription charge). The European championship is televised on terrestrial tv though, for free.

Rugby is a lot harsher than American football, billy.

I know all about Rugby, and the hits taken in Rugby arent nearly as hard as in American Football. My sister played girls rugby for her college. Worst injury ever really was maybe a broken finger. People actually snap thier necks in American football from being hit so hard. Spines too.

Soccer requires much more finesse and technical skill than football. I like em both. But after watching a soccer match... watching a player's feet move faster than the eye while manipulating a ball... and watching a group of guys stop, line up, hit eachother, throw ball, stop, line up, hit eachother, throw ball... There's no comparison.

Well you cant compare them directly... its like apples and oranges. But if we were to ask which game it rougher and tougher I think you would have to give it to American football. If we asked which game required more total athletes then Soccer wins.

Although you gotta admit American Football is more strategic than Soccer which can be ruled by 1 or 2 awsome players.

That's why it's so boring. Secret formations, trick plays, strategic use of time outs. It's boring as fucking hell. Stop, start, stop, start, stop, start.

As far as rough and tough, yeah. American football is rough and tough. More so, yes. But soccer isn't exactly powder puff. If you ever bothered you watch a match, specially one of the Italian or South American clubs.

Ive watched soccer matches, in person and on TV. I didnt say they are powder puff. But theres a lack of hard contact for sure. I love ot see guys kick the shit outta each other. Thats why Boxing is my favorite sport
