What are your favorite Darkforum memories, and moments?

I would have to say that one of my favorite memories, was my very first few posts here... I was invited here by ...I think it was Sire actually, and decided that the best way to introduce myself was to just jump into an argument head first...

I believe it was with Billy, and ArSi that I first got to know the spirit of Darkforum

Another favorite moment would absolutely have to be the time I convinced Sire to turn the place pink. Sadly, he did it, but I happened to be not here for when it happened as I recall... oh well.

Another all time favorite would be ArSiNiK's halloween costume from ... I'm not sure what year, but I know I have the photos of it still

DF has been around a great many years... I'm impressed. Not only that but there's still a great deal of the same names etc around ...

The Skorpion vs. thefr0g thread. That was good stuff. When everyone in my high school signed up to the site. Also good stuff.

I'm pretty sure the Gurn invasions were always a hoot.

I'd have to say the Gurn invasions were awesome.

And when the IRC chat was in full incredible force.

The Youngwerther times were kinda cool, but not my favourite at all.

I'd just say my favourites were when the place was teeming with life and flame wars were happening all over the place.

my favorite was when sin (sinistress) used to send me naked pics of herself. that was awesome.

i used to enjoy the days when wicked lady and dani (i forget her screen name) were little uppity teenagers and i got to verbally bitch slap them around the forums.

it was also pretty fun to fuck with sire. he was basically a little girl and would get his feelings hurt if you talked shit to him... then ban you for a week.

the gurn invasion was fun. british raver kids proved to be more fun then i thought they would be.

i guess the bottom line is it was more fun when everyone talked shit to each other. now we're all old, some are married, and sitting on the internet all day and talking shit isn't quite as important as paying the monthly bills.

Gurn is gone completely. I went to look at it and it's gone, and apparently it had been dead for quite some time. Kind of sad.

And I'm pretty sure Arsinik is right, most of us are old and lame now. I mean I'm not that old but I'm pretty lame I think.

I had tons of fun in IRC back in the day, I think me and my friends were banned over 100 times at least.

I miss DRAGONMASTER, king of all that is cool.

I miss Alliance of Concerned Men, and the threads with Vannaken in it.....the funniest comment was made by Shadowborne when he said ".....you really can't talk to someone who's head is made out of Nerf."

Metagion, you are absolutely right. I remember those days too I think we're not all "old and lame" and I like to think that all of us made some great friends on these boards "back in the day" and I'm sure we can liven the place up again.
