if there is no God, another Hitler is inevitable.

if indeed we wish to tear God down from his throne and make our own way, we must erect another god in his place. what shall that god be? materialism? sex? drugs? onling gambling? the hurdy gurdy of harlotry? these things could come to replace God, but is it not true that they too will be crushed underfoot of the next most powerful influence?

let us cut to the chase i say: if we overthrow god, then let's put a charismatic figure in his place. let there be huge ceremonious rallies for his honor. let there be sacrifices; let the rabble throw their dearest possessions into his coffers, wars and taxes. let us appease a god who gives us tangible results! bull markets, economic development, five year plans, the whole lot! what should we ask in return? that we may suffer more, and drink ourselves into oblivion as we do it!

if another hitler came into the world, he would be the physical embodiment of God I crave, the last statement against the pseudo-intellectual athiestic nihilism that has infested our ranks. i will follow him because he is greater than God, for i am his servant rather than his slave!

if you deny the existence of God, you must ultimately join me in this conclusion. what shall we have? murking for centuries crossing the swamp, or full steam ahead across the swamp?
