you know for the past year i have heard this word poser thrown around. everybody, poser this, poser that. you know what. its no ones place to judge anyone like that. because someone had a change of charachter like real quik it shouldnt matter as long as there happy being that person, or in htis case happy being deppressed. its kind of an oxi-moron but you know so is everything else.

"he's such a poser", was the ones i here behind my back. and the ones to my face. i try to ignore it for the fact that it sort of makes the other person really look heartless and a prick to say. i have stated this word for a while but i have stopped once i came to my theory which is nothing new but i figured it should be known once more incase its not apparent at the time being.

And the word is to 'Reiterate' i think but yes i agree...i said something simailar about being Pretentious which is practicaly the same thing...we hardly know ourselves so what gives us the right to tell someone they're being something they are not? what basis is that on?
and yet to not judge others is quite blatantly impossible. it is obviously a fault with all human beings it's quite obvious we judge each other on even more peculiar things such as colour or accent. these problems are the 1st things we must change ...after that we can worry about ppl judging us on our fashion sence.

hmmm.......i don't know man, there are times i have labelled people as posers and felt justified in doing so.....

for example: a friend of mine in high school was a big band nerd dork, i on the other hand was a metal head, now he started copying some of my styles (such as buying a leather jacket, listening to metallica, tool, COF, etc) but i was cool with it.......then this girl comes along, total pearl jam freak, then all of sudden this guy goes out and buys like 3 pearl jam t-shirts without even knowing the band at all, that is a poser to me.....

another friend of mine i label very much, to his face, that he is a poser, cuz he is: he used to listen to old 60-70's rock and owned a fender bass, he meets me and goes all out gothic (listening to acid bath, type-o, COF, wumpscut, etc) and seels his bass and buys a warlock bass, then he meets prior guy mentioned above and goes all out punk (where did that come into play?), then he meets this guy that was all about modelling and wore expensive shit, my friend copies that, then my friend meets these ravers and now he too is a raver.......alot of forms this man has taken

i do not think it is so much of being a poser if it is a subtle transcition, i mean i went from a metal head to a more gothy approach, but did so in a period of years......as for these people, they went from A-C in a matter of weeks, to me that is a justified poser; however, within time you may transition from C-D and that is ok, but it's just when do something becuz it seems like a fad or sum shit you are labbeled as a poser.......

it is ok to adopt new ideas and let certain things rub off onto you, but to all of sudden switch an identity is just bewildering, let it be subtle and try to fully understand what you are about to become before you jump right into it......

it's simple, a poser is someone who chooses to live a lifestyle to fit in, those who are not a poser live their life how they want...it's the reason you do something, not the what you do...
