... believe you control the weather? I mean you feed them (and some have to clean out their poo- if you don't have a garden etc) so shouldn't you then also control the weather? My cats moan endlessly at me when it rains, as if I deliberately made sure they'd get wet when they wanted to venture outside. I'm sure they believe it's some sinister plot to ruin their day!

I'm sure cats have no illusions about the reality of the situations - we exist to pet them and feed them and attend to their needs. Which is partially true.

Haha yes, too true. Well we are there to ensure their comfort, and that surely would mean making sure the weather remains perfect too!

Hardly, they even know how to wake me up in the mornings. My one cat usually goes for my Buddha silk Tanka hanging on the wall, or my velvet curtains. He knows exactly what will piss me off so he goes for that!

My cat is always sleeping in my bed unless he's eating or outside at night.

Hmm that's not good!! It's very unhealthy for cats (all animals) to be fat, without stating the obvious of course. It can cause severe problems when they get older. When I got a new kitten my one female cat got very insecure and started eating a lot more, she got really, really fat... Until I started telling her how fat she looked, she put herself on a diet haha... she started eating much less and is back to her normal weight.

yeah, my mom says when he eats people food he gets real sick and vomits up some blood but i have a feeling he only did that when i got him high ...so now he's a sober clean diet kitty.

And yes, cats are not suppose to eat what we eat, which is one of my moral issues! Being vegan yet having to buy food to feed my cats. It's a tricky one!
But anyway, the best food for dogs and cats are ones supplied by the vets. In the 80's and even 90's apparently they used to perform countless operation which in the end give the animal a sex change, due to urinary and kidney problems, as a direct cause of the diets. So thankfully they started producing pet food that doesn't slowly kill your animal every day!

my cat is a siamese chocolate point, and he's damn smart. he knows we exist jus for him. every time we go out, return home, go to bed, get up, its for him. and an excuse to pet him and give him treats and stuff. and if we eat, he has to have some.

he refuses to drink out of anything other than a cup on the dining room table, and knows everyone's routine. he wakes us up in the mornin (and mid night) and commands us. lil bugger. i love him though.
