What the hell got into Sharon?

Goddamn....

Black Sabbath is my favorite band of all time, and Iron Maiden is my second-favorite band of all time. I think Sharon Osbourne just became my least-favorite person of all time.

Gah...someone needs to knock Sharon off her throne, I swear she's aging in reverse, getting more and more immature with each passing day.

Thats what insane amounts of money can do to a person.

well, it is Ozzfest. its run by the fucking Osbournes. they are going to do whatever the hell they please. without anyones permission. they have money. and they run the goddamn show. as to WHY they asked Iron Maiden to tour with em and then pull a stunt like this, its fucking publicity. good or bad. publicity is publicity. anything to get attention. like a cutter, cutting and showing it off for attention.

Never liked Maiden much anyway. I say good job!

aww- Iron Maiden's so awesome. I love them- Black Sabbath too- I never have been quite fond of Ozzy- people always look at me funny for that-
Well if you think about it- at least you could converse with the Iron Maiden members and Black Sabbath Members- but you defintely would have a hard time trying to converse the overdid heroine Ozzy.

So, I've dug out last week's Kerrang to see what the fuss is about, and there's an interview with Bruce where comments on his his kids cope with his career, and he said;

"At school some kids will look at them like they have two heads. But my kids have handled themselves extraordinarily well. I imagine it'd be worse for them if I'd bitten the head off a bat."


That's it. That's all he said Ozzy related. Wow.


Btw, not really a Maiden fan, but they were my first proper rock gig as a wee kid and it was an amazing experience. 'Seventh Son' Tour....

I believe Ozzy was more of a coke and booze fiend than the Horse. I'm sure he did it, but I don't think it was his dope of choice.

Ozzfest sucks ass. I'd prefer to go to a 'Maidenfest' over that crap anyday. It's on its way out anyway. Sharon O. should leave the rock n' roll to the musicians.

Well- most people think something is wrong with me. Or that I am crazy- which I can't really argue with them- I am crazy but not for Ozzy.- I have no interest in the osbournes- so they can go fuck themselves- which I'm sure they found a way to do.

But the point is- Iron Maiden' MY FUCKIN' Band.

Sharon's issued a statement saying that she did cut the power as Bruce had made some comments about reality TV shows, Ozzy's use of a teleprompter and the corporateness of Ozzfest and outrageous ticket prices.

I don't care whose right or wrong (But Sharon's wrong!!), all she did was punish the people who paid money to see a show. From an organisers point of view, that has to be the most unprofessional things you can ever do.
The crowd should demand refunds.

I saw Maiden about a year ago and it was the best fucking time of my life. They played their fuckin hearts out. Plus it was the Dance of Death tour, and I hadn't heard the album yet, so I was hearing a new batch of Maiden tunes for the first time as they were being played.

Maiden are all about the sword-and-sorcery and war and Clint Eastwood and the dramatic performace...it's cheesy as hell, yet it's like they know it and just indulge in it. It's what makes them the real thing and makes it enjoyable. They don't hold back.
