i went to the store last night, bought something, got change and put it in my pocket.

this morning, i went into my pocket and noticed that it was a counterfeit $10 bill. it's not like i can go back to the store and the bank will just destroy it cause it's not exchangeable.

damn! damn damn damn! now i'm gonna be paranoid everytime i make change.

scan it. i wanna see it.

..nobody checks for counterfeit ten notes.

..just make change at your nearest fast food resturant.

..it is a shame that one must inspect every bill they get for just that reason.

..I have a pretty nice collection of fake notes, myself, from one hundreds, to one-sided pennies..and that's just with two year's worth of vigilance.

you might call your bank and ask them about it. Plus, how do you know its counterfeit? My sister got a bill that a vendor told her was counterfeit, ended up just being so old that none of the standard tests worked on it.

in the dark, it looks green, but the more light it's red-ish. the bright light of the scanner makes it even more obvious. i know a lot about money and this is a fake.

i think it's a sign from the heavens that i'm not supposed to go to the movies this week.

that's what i don't understand; if you know a lot about money or it's super obvious that the bill is fake, then why did you accept it?

..it's almost too easy not to notice, when some shifty looking crackhead is peering over your shoulder.

..more worried with getting my hands free, than inspecting each bill.

because i didn't really look at it. when you get change, do you just check to make sure you got correct change or do you examine every bill before walking away?

i was given $17. the 2 one's and the five were on top. at a quick glance, it looked like the new $10 bill. i noticed later that it didn't have the little 10's or the torches.

report the store to the authorities or something

..kill the store manager's children.

..less hassle, and slightly more dignified than calling the cops.

the law states that you are allowed to roll the counterfeit currency up and shove it up the store clerk's ass.

Put it this way, if someone managed to spend it there first time you should be able to go back to the same store and respend it
