Actually of that was in my head. I didn't go to a concert. But i've been to Collective Soul and my friend Carlie and I were in a mosh pit. We kicked everyone's ass and we were the only girls in it. But i've been elbowed in the face and stood back up and continued to stay in the mosh pit.

you saw collective soul?! they still around? weren't they like 1995 or sumtin? and they had a mosh pit? wow!................Coal Chamber's was pretty fucking hardcore and Gwar's was pretty intense.........during The Deadlights, a dude got jacked in the face and blood went all over my girlfriend at the time......and i actually got "beat up" at gwar.....i knocked some chick down and her big boyfriend didn't like that....the mother fucker kicked me while i was on the ground.....gay

Yep I saw them my freshmen year of high school. Yeah and there was a mosh pit at Collective Soul. I thought that was pretty stupid actually. Hahaha poor you.

kool.......and thanx......yeah, when i went and saw stabbing westward a few yrs ago, the tour for their latest and last album, which is complete shit, people were moshing to such songs like "my angel" which was like.....uh........even the singer was like "you're the first crowd i ever seen mosh to 'angel'"

hah,you saw collective soul? Thats so cool. I remember I first liked them when I heard Gel back around 6th grade. have'nt heard them really in years,i think the last album they had out was Blender. But since we are sharing our most fondest concert memories,I'll tell you mine.Now,I have a secret aversion to crowds,and most people,so Im not really one fit for a concert,but the first one I went to was Orgy.My friends and I met them at the bar,before the concert,and the majority of them were all perverts,except for the quiet one,the one with the blonde hair with black streaks.Anyway,the concert sucked.There was one massive whale of a being in the center of a mosh pit just destroying people left and right.The other mosh pit I was in,was lame,it was at a 'disturbed' concert,which ironically,was'ent all that disturbing.

I recently saw Collective Soul. They've put out.. I think three albums or so since the last one you probably had/saw/remember. The mosh pit here in Seattle wasn't the best.. it was mostly hippies and college progs who didn't get too crazy. *shrug*

Oh, and OMG Spaceghost.. I freaking loved that episode of Angel.

Not a big fan of mosh pits, usually the only reason I go through them is because they generally offer the most direct route to the front of the stage. Oh sure, you can go around and maybe get within 20 feet of the first row, or you can brave the pit and get pretty damn close.

I really hate what people mosh to now. If it's in concert, they mosh to it. And it's never a good mosh either. (I perfer local shows and their pits to the massive ones you find at most concerts) But yeah, rap, pop, probably country, it doesn't matter what it is, people will mosh to it. Everyone seems to forget that each genre of music really does have a physical way to enjoy it attached. Moshing just happens to be the choice for metal and punk. (Industrialites stomp, everyone else dances in their distinct dancey-way) And even punk pits and metal pits are supposed to differ. But seriously people, how can anyone mosh to the new TKK album?!
