ok so i bought a pair of plain colored contacts that i cant wear

first of all i have a really hard time putting them on cuz my eyes are small and not really used to having pieces of something in them, then when i finally put them on I SEE BLURRY!
but not blurry like wrong prescription contacts blurry, like i see the color on them, theyre uncomfortable and GRR they piss me off. they dont stay right in place as they should i guess.

what the fuck? am i the only the one with a freak problem like this or has anyone else experienced this. yea i ve worn color contacts before and i had the same problem, there was only this one time when they actually felt confortable and i saw clearly with them on. i thought it was maybe just that pair. so i risked buying another one and nope same thing.
could it be that i just dont know how to put on or wear contacts>!!?!?!

a friend of mine had a similar problem, though they were prescription. her eyes constantly watered, and she would fidget with the lens all the time cause they never felt comfortable. after while she just gave up and went back to glasses.

some people can be pretty sensitive in that area, which may be the problem.

hmm maybe they gave me prescription contacts...No but it cant be a coincidence that both pairs were accidentally given to me with prescription.

it's a fault in the lens of an eye which affects your focusing abilities... but then you'd have problems focusing regardless of the contacts.

oh then thats not it. damnit!

You might need to cut your eyes out. Check with a doc first, though.

i m trying to put em on again and i only got one in, and it still looks like that. see but its only little parts that look blurry thats why i m saying its prob that i can see the color on them. and i was trying to put in the right one when it fell!! and i couldnt find it, i had my mom looking for it with a flashlight till we finally found the fucker. GODAMN these thngs, and they look so pretty on me too!

plain contacts without a scrpit? i won't ask

it may have to do with the material its made from, you may have a sensitivity to it. what's the brand? you can talk to your doc about switching to a different brand possibly.

you may also want to try cleaning them or soaking them to remove the protien deposits that build up.

and make sure you tap out any air bubbles after insertion.

well i have em soaking in that Renu solution. they re always in their little thingy soaking in it.

maybe thats its cuz my friend told me maybe that was the problem.

i dotn need to wear prescription contacts but i wanted color contacts so i thats why i got em.

oooh, i didn't realize you got them color, when you said "plain contacts" i thought you meant just clear contacts.

close your eye over the lense and tap lightly. you'll feel it if there were any air bubbles.

also, make sure you're not putting them in backward. it helps to look at the edge and make sure they curve inward not outward. it helps if you look at them against a solid, dark color. like a bathroom wall (not white) or a dark towel. (note: not saying put the contact on the surface and look, have the solid color in the background so you can see the contact better).

let me get this straight. you are having problems on getting colored contacts to work despite not needing contacts to see. for those of use required to wear glasses/contacts to keep from waling into walls, i ought to spank you you like a whiney little gerl.

Contacts are something i just couldn't even try. Just the thought of them in my eyes..ugh....i'm sticking to glasses!

it's just when you don't have perfect eyesight.
I haven't tried contacts, I don't have such bad vision and I love my pink glasses. I only recently got them so hopefully they will fix themselves.
I wouldn't ever wear contacts that weren't fitted properly by the optometrist.

softs are ok. i've never had a problem. but back when i wore hard contacts, that sucked donkey balls. it took a week to build up callouses in your eyelids, etc. they ended up getting smashed in the case by my brother thankfully.
