Ive a cold sore for the last 3 days and tried everything from putting teabags and vinegr on it to nail polish remover and it wont go away  have to go to a posh restrant 4 my bday on Tuesday 2 and want to be rid of it by then any suggestion? | |

Toothpase. Trust me, toothpase. Might not get rid of it in two days but it works better and is cheaper than anything else.

The best thing for a cold sore is toothpaste and vasaline... Everytime you feel a coldsore comming on, all you do is rub vasaline thickly over the area you feel it tingling and it never does break out into a sore.... Believe me it does seriously work.
But if you don't do that and you get a sore, jsut rub toothpaste on it, its slow but it works.
