This might include long stringy hair, too much makeup in girls (or boys), clothes that are way too big and don't fit, all black everything, and rock teeshirts of bands that have values that you deplore (Marilyn Manson immediately comes to mind). If your child is espousing these bands, there is a chance he will also try to "live up to the image" that these bands project. Two of my kids have permanent scars from cutting themselves in imitation of Marilyn Manson, carving anarchy signs into their hands, arms, and stomachs. We want our kids to have some freedom in how they dress and hate to battle with them regarding their choice of clothes. However, sometimes a parent must put his foot down on certain styles. Black rock tee-shirts with obnoxious bands on them may attract other kids who use drugs and cause kids who are not into that scene to shy away from your child.


again they are judging us by what we wear and what we listen to and that it has an impact on our behavor. judging us from wearing clothes or judging us by the music we listen to has nothing at all to do with are behavor.

It's best to take DXM purified.. but diluted. There's too many added ingredients in cough medicines. But if you're hurting for cash.. GODDAMN WHAT A RIDE. 30 milligrams in a tab... 16 to a pack. That's a good 480 milligrams of happiness.

I'm sorry, but it has a LOT to do with your behaviour. And most of you aren't smart enough to discern fantasy from reality. Most of you will emulate or rock star idols, because you aren't bright enough to come up with your own personalities. I went through highschool with a wardrobe that consisted of nothing but Metallica, GNR, Pink Floyd, Queensryche, and MegadetH t-shirts.... I've never smoked a joint in my life and didnt have my first taste of the demon alcohol til a week before my 21st birthday (and about every weekend after until the present).

My biggest fear is of having a child, and finding out one day that my child is stupid. Unfortunately by the time you realize this they're too old to take care of the problem with a spontaneous outbreak of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome... so you gotta deal with it. I would probably end up just beating the smart into my kid.

yeah but when i went to high school. i was wearing all black and i weared a couple of rock t-shirts my self. but at least i wasn't messed up like how i saw some of the kids in high school were. i never EVER smoked a joint before and i don't do drugs and i also never cut my self at all. but other kids that were weaing all black and having rock t-shirts most of thoughs kids in high school were really messed up. but i wan't and i guess it DOES effect some people depending how well stable they are though when they choose to dress like this and with the music that they listen to.

yeah but even though i weared a few rock t-shirt i never did anything bad or even cut my self. but i wasn't really into rock t-shirt and they weren't my style. wearing black clothes were my style. i could also understand that you would beat me to blood because if you were my parent you are trying to look out for me and that would be understandable. .
