Which do you prefer?

I personally 'prefer' plastic in that if my purse gets stolen, my money is still protected.

However, on another note (probably a more valid one in some ways) I by far prefer cash. For whatever reason, I burn through money SO fast when I'm using my debit card or credit card. Maybe its because I don't have a visual of it all disappearing out of my purse. I don't really know. But for whatever reason, if I have cash, I tend to hold onto it.

I hate plastic. Cash is much much better. I have a better idea what I have - of what I'm losing. and its just more satisfying.

plastic... I dont get a check it gets direct deposited into my bank account so I never have to go there.

Small amounts of cash for little things and a debit card for the few shopping bits and groceries. Being at school I use my "Hokie Passport" (aka school id) to pay for really anything on campus and at some places in town.

plastic is for emergencies and paying some bills.. Cash for everything else.. that way i know what i have to spend..

I don't own a credit card and I don't intend on getting one, but I used to use eftpos for everything big and small purchases. Untill I realised I was being charged every time i used it. Now I try and get out enough cash to last the week, so I only get charged once a week.

If eftpos didn't charge me though, I would only use that. I enjoy not having to carry around jangly smelly money...

I can't save money when I use plastic, it's always there and too accessible. I prefer cash.

I use plastic most of the time. Most of the upscale bars in Charlotte don't let you run a cash tab. You have to use a credit card.

depends where i'm buying shit from. i buy alot online now. but i usually take out fifty at the start of the month if i can just for general living.

Plastic, I would die if my debit card stopped working. My checks are all direct deposited and cash is a total pain in the ass. Besides that, I almost never need it. This is the only time of year I actually have cash and it's only for BOWLING NIGHT oooo yeaaa... It really stinks when I'm out and about and I realize that: damnit, I can't go do this or buy that because I need cash and I, of course, have none.

i spose, i do actually use my card shitloads. i always pay for my fuel on my card, (gives me an idea when and where im buying petrol) and when i buy shit in stores i use my card, and online i use my card, but cash is for when im eating and they dont accept cards.

cash = food.
card = everything else.
