oh god that really is ridiculous, but what they fail to mention is that a lot of babies in the us are being born allergic to breat milk or rther soome of the sstuff that is in it. because of all the processed chemicals and modified foods we eat more and moree babies are allergic to breast milk, or at least have reactions to it.

That is the weirdest thing I've heard. I know that if you eat a curry it can give you baby an upset stomach, but in all my years of being in the health service and as a mother, I have never known a baby allergic to breastmilk. Formula, yes, hundreds of them, but never breast milk.

I was allergic to breastmilk. the doctors couldnt figure out why i was getting so sick and kept crying as a baby....my mom had no idea what was wrong until i was 2 months old.

My daughter is allergic to milk, she was fine with breast milk though.

The only times I have heard of children having a reaction to breastmilk is due to the mothers diet, one woman we had loved strawberries and ate them all the time, but her baby was allergic to them. As soon as she stoppped eating them it was able to tolerate breast milk. Peanut butter is another one for that.

It has to be due to the complexitiy and chemical aspect of many western diets. For example, strawberries are naturally only available for a limited time and amount in this country, but modern faming mathods and imports from Spain means you get them all year round.

In some of the countries I've lived formula doesn't exist. Babies can't be allergic to breast milk, there's no other option for them.

i can drink milk just fine...however i think im beginning to have a lactose intolerance.

im getting tummy issues almost daily

Self diagnosis is bad. Get allergy tests.

My doctor told me that as you get older your level of milk tolerance change. Which mean as you get older you can't drink as much milk. Like me now I can't drink more than 2 glasses of milk per day

i know more medical shit than my doctor.

and besides i lost my insurance so im not paying hundreds of dollars for allergy tests.

i rarely drink milk anyways.
