This is serously the dumbest thing my family has ever done, even thow it was probially a hundred or so years ago.
When we immagrated from Italy, we changed our last name from "Vonbozarez" to some stupid last name. AND why "To avoid oppression" were the Italians being oppressesd at the time, I dont think a different last name would stop oppression. I want my old one back, the new one is bland and boring.

As a representative of long last names with z's in them, I INSIST you change your name back.In the goth community,its bound to get you some points in being exotic sounding.

My parents like the current one, there are no more of the Vonbozarez family. They all died off we only left 4 people over in Italy.

Yea, it isnt the legal process that costs soo much. But you have to print it in all the local papers and you have to get it annonced and you have to send mail to people who need to know the change. It isnt fun as I hear,

I would like my old name back but i would need a parental concent form to do it, my parents wont give me one.

Hehe. Someone told me that my name probably was changed from Scotto to Scotti to avoid some persecution in Europe at some point or another. Who knows if he was right, but it's still decently Italian. If you're changing your name, I'd add a vowel at the end, just for added Italian flare.

My last name is French as well as my fathers side of the family. I like it and I'm happy to know that anything having to do with the French pisses a certain group of people off.
